Fertigation Systems from ACS

Fertigation (a fertilization and irrigation system) is a complex undertaking, requiring very good design, engineering and control. There are so many different aspects of fertigation design to consider that it makes sense to consult with a company with vast experience in the area. ACS certainly fits the bill. Not only do we have the hands-on experience, but we have contacts in the fertigation field with the design and engineering experience needed to build you the right system at the right price.

Multi-Feed Nutrient Injection System

Fertigation PanelThe Multi-Feed Nutrient Injection System is designed to be flexible, scalable and extremely reliable. Here are some of the advantages for the Multi-Feed System:

  • Uses proven Argus Feed-Forward control intelligence for fast response and the highest dosing accuracy and safety
  • Engineered to your specifications (single head, A/B, or multi-head options)
  • Ideal for pressurized in-line or dilute tank applications
  • Low residual volumes for efficient feed switching
  • Excellent mixing at all system flow rates
  • High turndown models are available
  • Works with a wide range of stock concentration strengths
  • No additional pumps required - works with your system pump
  • Works with system pressures from 15-75 psi
  • Few moving parts - made from simple, high quality components
  • Compact, easy-to-install, wall mountable design
  • Easy to operate - controlled by your Argus system. Uses standard monitoring, alarms, and nutrient control programs
  • Positive isolation of stock solutions to prevent accidental siphoning

Ease of Installation

  • Compact
  • Self-contained
  • Can be ‘tapped’ into your existing piping
  • Easy to mount ‘hang-on-the-wall’ design

Built to Fit your Existing System

Fertigation System GraphicIn many cases your existing irrigation system pump can be used to provide the motive flow to operate the Multi-Feed system, as shown in the diagram below. The unit typically requires about 20% of your irrigation system capacity to operate. In instances where your existing pump is not available or lacks capacity, we can supply an independent booster pump. A flow meter mounted in the main line of your irrigation system measures the current rate of system flow. This is used to calculate the correct amount of concentrates to inject at any flow rate. Optional guard sensors located downstream can be used to provide an additional measure of safety.
